Xiqin Embroidery: A Thousand-Year Tradition in Threads
Originating from Baoji, Shaanxi, Xiqin Embroidery is a vibrant and imaginative folk art, characterized by bold compositions and colorful expression. For generations, artisans have used everything from nature to mythology to express their hopes and blessings through stitches. In 2008, it was officially listed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage of China.
We remain committed to pure hand embroidery, with each piece undergoing more than 20 meticulous steps over several days — preserving the unique “personality” of every work, bringing auspicious charm into your space.
Metamorphosis: From Cocoon to Butterfly
In collaboration with a leading embroidery cooperative in Baoji, we curated a limited edition of ten unique butterflies, each with its own silhouette and story. The series is named “Metamorphosis”, symbolizing renewal, freedom, and overcoming adversity.
We’ve also enhanced the materials and color palettes to better reflect modern aesthetics while preserving the traditional craftsmanship — a beautiful symbol of blessing, love, and vitality.
